Mails close for the following place i as under (subject to the necessary alterations):— TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2S. For Northern ports, per Hawes, at 7 p.m. Iho guard’s van must not be used for this mail. WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27. For the United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Brindisi (specially addressed correspondence only), Point de Galle, India, China, Japan, the East, Aden, Mauritius, Suez, the Mediterranean Ports, and Australian ;Colonies, per express train (to ccnneo with aa. Arawata and s.s. Dccima), at 7 a.m. THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28. For West Coast Sounds (per Stella, from Bluff), express train, 7 a.m. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies (via Sydney), per To Auau, at 3.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m. ; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train.
