Mary Ann Nugent and Sarah Lonita Bowman were each fined £2, or in default to bo imprisoned for four days, and to be kept at hard labour. Mary Ann Greaves, charged with being *m habitual drunkard, was remanded for further evidence. Cirra Oases.—Ayleward v Heathcole Kg*-..' Board, claim £BS la 9d. Mr Stringer for plaintiff; Mr Harper for defendants. The elaiSE was for extras done in a contract for lower::-, the Ferry road, and the point at issue was whether lOd or 6i per yard should be paid by the Board for the removal of a quantity of ea:th. Defendants had paid £SO into Oonrt. After evidence, judgment was given for plaintiff for the full omc.ur.t olaimed, with costs, solicitor's fee £3 3«, and expenses of two witnesses, £2 2a. Judgments went by default for plaintiffs in—Dale and Co. v Mi'l and Lewis, £22 10s j and P-pperell v Brown, £sl 12s; Scott Bros, v Lewis was adjourned till September 22nd ; Moir v Orchard till September 29ih.
