New Zealand securities, Five per Cent. 10-40 Loan, 105£, ex div.; Five per Cent. 1889 Loan, 106 J; Four and a Half per Cent. 1904 Loan, 101|, ex div. Colonial breadatuffs and tallow are unchanged. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,000,000 quarters. At to-day'a wool sale 16,100 bake were catalogued, and there was a good demand for the various lots offered.

September 9. Consols have declined -fr to 99J. There are no change? to report in New Zealand securities or colonial produce. A fair demand was experienced at to-day's wool auction, and 8500 bales were offered. The cricket match at Scarborough, Australians v. I Zingari, was concluded to-day in a draw, want of time preventing its completion. The Australians were at the wickets for their second innings the whole day, and when the stumps were drawn had scored 423 for six wickets. Bannerman made 120, and Bonner 122.
