Consols remain at par. New Zealand securities are unchanged. Adelaide wheat has declined 6d, and is quoted to-day at 48s, ex store. Adelaide flour is unchanged at 355. New Zealand wheat, ex warehouse, 46s to 48s. Australian tallow—Best beef, 45s 6d; best mutton, 46s 6d.

At to-day’s wool auction the catalogue comprised 9000 bales, for which a fair demand was experienced.

The Australian cricketers commenced their return match against Eleven of Nottingham, at Nottingham, to-day. The weather was fine, and a large number of spectators was present. The Australians went in first, but owing to the excellent bowling and fielding of the home team only made 131. The highest scorer was Murdoch, bowled for 72.
