"St According to the latest intelligence la hand from headquarters Sir Garnet Wolseley is awaiting the completion of arrangements for the transport service from lemailia to the front before making any further movement against the enemy. September S. The Highland Brigade arrived at Ismailia to-day for this city, and will to actively employed at an early date. [“ ABGUS ” SPECIAL.] LONDON, August 31._ The new camp of the enemy discovered in the desert is ten miles from Kassassin. Turkey proposes to land troops at Alexandria, and march to AbonMr. September 3. The quarantine regulations of Bombay delay the completion of the Indian contingent for Egypt. The Imperial Government have agreed to the request of Sir Garnet Wolseley, and havo supplied the balloons required for observational purposes. The Bedouins are supplying provisions to the front. [“age” special.] LONDON, September 1, 4.25 p.m. Trenches have been discovered in the desert near Kassassin. They will be attacked shortly by our troops.
