OTAGO AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.
[PBBBS ASSOCIATION TSLBQBAM.I DUNEDIN, August 23. This association held their annual masting to day. The balance-sheet showed that the receipts for the year, including £HI 10) 7d brought forward, were £lO3l 9« Id, while the expenses amounted to £IOO2 16j 2d, of which amount £453 4j 6d was given in prizes, leaving a balance of £2B 12s lid. Mr D. Stronaoh was elected president, Mr John Reed (Blderslie) vice-president. 16 was decided to hold the show on November 22nd and 23rd, being a week earlier than in the previous years. Two cups were exhibited. The first was a twenty-five guinea cup, given by Messrs Dalgety and 0 0., for the largest prizs-taker in merino sheep. The second was a twenty guinea cup, given by Mr Q-. Q-, Russell, for the largest prizo-takor in Lincolns.
