There was again a large attendance, and the weather was very fine. The Home team, with six wickets down for 127, continued their second innings. The remaining four wickets fell for 25, and the innings thus closed for a total of 152. The Hon. A. Lyttelton was the highest scorer with 61 runs. The Australians requiring 207 runs to win, went in for their second innings. None of the batsmen save Bannerman, Murdoch, and Bonnor, made any stand against the splendid bowling and fielding of the Englishmen, and the innings at length closed for a total of 187, leaving the Homo team winners by 20 runs. In the Australian’s second innings Bannerman was caught for 30, Murdoch caught for 48, and Bonnor caught and bowled for 66.

Consols remain at 991. There are no changes to report in colonial securities, hreadstuffs, or tallow. Off coast cargoes of Adelaide wheat are now realising 48s.
