[“Anars” Specials.] LONDON, August 15, The demonstration at Dublin is entirely of a political {sic) nature. The Lord Mayor unveiled the O’Connell monument, and then, at the head of a procession of 40,000 persons, proceeded to open the Exhibition, The continuance of the Zulu military system and organisation has been prohibited by the English Government. The Irish Crimes Commission has sentenced an agrarian murderer and four Moonlighters to heavy penal servitude. An action against the “ Freeman’s Journal ” for libel is proceeding. August 16.
Dublin is quiet. Baron Lesseps has prevented the laying of the proposed new cable from Port Said to Suez.
