[BETTER'S TEIiEGEAMS.] MELBOURNE, August 14. The necessary repairs to the steamship Te Anau having been completed, she will leave Melbourne to-morrow for the Bluff.
Information is to hand that a robbery has been committed at the branch of the Colonial Bank of Australasia at Reedy Creek, but no particulars are yet to hand.
Arrived, last evening—Orient steamship John Elder, from Plymouth (July). SYDNEY, August 14. Arrived —H.M.S. Nelson. A Sydney Lloyd's Underwriters' Association has been formed here. The local business of Goldborough and Co., Hoffnung and Co., and Rowan and Co. are being formed into a company.
