Consols remain at par. The market rate has been raised by i to 2 f-, and is how i below the Bank rate of discount. New Zealand securities are unchanged. Colonial breadstuffs continue dull. Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, has declined to 365, being a fall of 6d. Adelaide wheat remains at 50s, and New Zealand at 495, ex warehouse. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,260,000 quarters, or an increase of 190,000 quarters since the sth inst. Australian tallow is firm, but unchanged in price.
Further large withdrawals of gold is being made from the Bank of England for Italy.

The Marquis de Rays has been arrested in France for frauds in connection with the ill-fated New Ireland expedition. The riot at Beyrout was suppressed. A few were wounded. The town is now quiet.
An Italian man-of-war has gone to Caprera in consequence of a report that an expedition is contemplated to carry Garibaldi's will into effect by cremating his body.
The condition of affairs in Ireland is decidedly improving.
There ia still some excitement in America over the arrest of suspected Americans in Ireland.
