Best Scotch pig iron is unchanged at 52s 6d. The cricket match at Liverpool was resumed to-day, the weather being fine, but the wicket was still heavy. The Liverpool Club in their first innings scored 112, A. G. Steele being the highest scorer with 52. The home team being 128 behind the Australians, followed on, and put together 137 in their second innings. The Australians requiring 10 runs to win, went in for their second innings, but time only permitted of their scoring 6 for the loss of one wicket. The match was therefore drawn, the Australians having 4 runs to make and nine wickets te fall.
