TJanra Abusive Lansuagh. — J._ Kirkpatrick was charged with using abusive and threatening language to Thomas Scott, who asked that defendant might bo bound oyer to keep the peace. Defendant was cautioned and ordered to pay costs of Court. Plaintiff’s application was refused. Clothes-line Thieves. John Wilson and John O’Neil were charged with stealing from a clothes-line a shirt and a pair of drawers, the property of John Watts. O Neil was discharged, Wilson was sentenced to be imprisoned for seven days. Civil Cases. —Bennetts v Osborne, claim £8 3» 6d, balance duo and interest pn a promissory note, Mr Joyce for plaintiff, Mr Spactman for defendant 5 judgment for plaintiff, with costs and solicitor’s fee. Courtney v Landergan, claim £1 3s 6d, for material supplied and loss of time ss a bricklayer ; judgment for plaintiff for 13s 6d, with costa and expenses of one witness 6s. Singleton v Martin, claim £3, for goods supplied ; judgment for plaintiff with costs. Judgment was for plaintiff by default in Seariet v Bogers, £2 19s fid. In Bobertson v Glasson, claim £5, plaintiff was nonsuited. Wright v Lynch was adjourned till August 10th,
