TURKISH TROOPS IN EGYPT. [REUTER'S TELEGRAMS, j CONSTANTINOPLE, Ang. 2. The Porte, in its reply to the communication of the Powers, states that it can only proclaim Arab! a rebel. Turkish troops have landed in Egypt. The English Ambassador has notified to the Porte that his Government requires that the Turkish troops sent to Egypt should bo subject to the orders of Sir Garnet Wolseley. LONDON, July 81. Regiments of the Grenadier Guards embarked to-day for Egypt, and the Coldstream Guards do so to-morrow. The Household Cavalry have received orders to embark on Wednesday. ALEXANDRIA, July 31. It has transpired that Admiral Seymour has abandoned the proposed bombardment of Aboukir by the British ironclads. Intelligence is to hand from Ismailia, in the Suez Canal, that a large force of British marines has been landed there from H.M.S. troopship Orontes, August 1. Tho Khedive has sent a communication to Admiral Seymour authorising the occupation of tho Suez Canal by the English forces. All the French war vessels which have been stationed here and at other Egyptian ports are now leaving. CONSTANTINOPLE, July 31.
The Conference of European ambassadors, which decided to terminate its proceedings on the 31sfc nit. in consequence of the declaration of the Russian plenipotentiary that he wonld only attend its meetings for tho purpose of discussing the question of the neutrality of the Suez Canal, resumed its sittings to-day. The Russian plenipotentiary, it has transpired, has received fresh instructions from the Russian Government to rejoin the Conference and participate in its proceedings. It is understood that tho Porte has now definitely decided to despatch a body of Loops to Egypt, notwithstanding the statement that this course could only be adopted provided the British troops wore withdrawn. Five thousand troops are under orders to embark to-morrow. Dervish Pasha will accompany the expedition.

It is stated that 2000 Bedouins are encamped in the vicinity of Alexandria. There is still plenty of water in the canal which supplies the city. The number of persons massacred in the interior is estimated at 500.
