[ebutbe’s telegrams.] SYDNEY, July 30. Arrived, last night—The s.s. City of New York, from Auckland. She had a very heavy passage across. The annual University commemoration was held last night, in the presence of a largo and brilliant assembly. Tho proceedings were unusually attractive. A new organ, which has been erected in the University Hall, was played for the first time on the occasion.
