OHBIBTOEVBOH. Saturday, Jtjey 29. [Before, J. Ollivier, B.U.] Dbtjnkekhbhs.—J. MoDonald and Ellen Jordan were fined lOi each, or in default forty-eight hours' imprisonment. Labobhihs. —Wm. Henry Amos, twelve, and Catherine Amos, nine, pleaded guilty to having stolen two fruit trees, value 10s, from the garden of Jessie Inndergan. Their father, who was in attendance, stated that the children must have committed the offence out of mischief. They were handed over to him on bis promise to whip them severely. H. Hyland, twelve, Augustus, fourteen, O. M., fifteen, and Lennard Post, eleven, T. Sullivan, fifteen, H. Juris, twelve, and Jos. Mo Aree, thirteen, were charged with stealing lead valued at £6, the property of Benjamin B. Best. The police asked for a remand, as there were others concerned not yet under arrest. The remand was granted till Monday next, the Bench recommending the polioe to have prepared some stout biroh rods by that time for their correction.
