DUNEDIN JOOKEY CLUB. j [PBBSS ASSOCIATIOH TELEGBAM.J j DTJNEDIN, July 26. The annual meeting of the Jookey Club was held to-night. The balance-sheet showed that, after paying all stakes and expenses, also the first instalment (£1520) of the purchase money of Eorbury Park. &c, a credit balance remained of £343 10j 103. The oommlttee contemplate the ereotion of a public stand over the booths outside the srrand stand reserve. The totalisator receipts for the year were £2786, of which £2126 was from" the Autumn meeting The sum expended as stakes was £3207. At a committee meeting afterwards, it waß agreed to add £I6OO to tha stakes for the spring and autumn meeting*;- •
