New Zealand securities—Five per Cent, 1889 Loan, have advanced to 106 J; and Four and a Half per Cent. 1879-1904 Loan, advanced 102 to 103 a j Five per Cent. 10-40 Loan* remains at 1061. Adelaide and New Zealand breadstuffs continue firm at 53s for Adelaide wheat, and 51s 6d for New Zealand, ex warehouse ; Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, remains at 38a. Australian tallow is also firm at 43s 6d for best beef, and 44s 6d for best mutton. The Australian cricketing team commenced a match to-day against Eleven of Yorkshire at Bradford. There was a very large attendance. The weather was fine, but the wicket was heavy, owing to the recent rain. The visitors went in first, and were all disposed of for 132. Bannorman was the highest scorer with 42 caught. The Home team then went in for their first innings, and had put together 25 runs for the loss of five wickets, when stumps wore drawn for the day. The bowling of the Anstralians was dead on the wicket, and the Englishmen could not take liberties with it. LONDON, July 18.
