The Avsnti, which <arrived on Sunday, left Boston on March 7th, crossed the Equator on April 20th in 26 W, passed the Cape df Good Hope on May 21afc in 3? S., the Louwin on Jane 25fch, and sighted the Snares on the 7th instant. Heavy S.E. gales, instead of the usual good westerly winds, were experienced from crossing the Greenwich meridian right along as far as Kerguelen's Land. The easting was run down between 43 and 44 S.
