The wheat market is active, and shipping wheat is now quoted at 6s 3d to 6s 4id; New Zealand'oats are quiet at 4s to 4s 2d for feeding, and 4s 3d to 4s 4d for milling sorts. The marine insurance companies here are now charging 5 per cent, premium for war risk on vessels. Arrived, this evening; Union Company's steamship Arawata, from the Bluff. SYDNEY, July 12. The railway extension between Gunnedah and Boggabri in the north of the colony has been opened by Sir John Robertson, Acting-Premier. At Messrs Mort and Co.'s sale of stud sheep yesterday 258 were sold and realised an aggregate of £7268.
