FURTHER PARTICULARS, Some further particulars of the total lops of the Agnes Jessie and five hands at Mahia are given by the Napier Telegraph.lt aopears that the vessel was driven into the bight of Hawke’s Bay, and, being heavy laden on a lee shore, the captain found it impossible to get her out Both her cables having parted, the captain decided, after consulting the mate, to beach the vessel at Te Hoe. This was accomplished in a heavy sea, tho vessel grounding some very considerable distance from the shore. The mate and throe of the hands manoged to get ashore in one of the boats, and proceeded to Mahia for help. The captain and the other five men stack to the vessel till 6 p.m. on Sunday, when the sea increased, and the vessel began rapidly to break up. The long boat was then launched, and the five unfortunate men got into her, but before they could get clear of the vessel the frail craft capsized, and all but the captain were drowned.
