BRISBANE, July 4. The Queensland revenne for tho last quarter amounted to £612,000, being an increase of £41,000 as compared with the June quarter of 18815$ Thei revenue for the year ended 30 th June amounted to £2,100,000, being an increase of £331,000 as compared with the previous year. The following increases are shown by the returns: —Customs, £119,000 ; land revenue, £12,000 ; rents, £44,000; railways, £83,000; and telegraphs, £25,000. MELBOURNE, July 4. A committee has been formed for the purpose of organising a banquet to Sir Henry B. Parkes on his return from England. Henry Bryant, alias De Beaumont, " Age " informant regarding the alleged Russian designs on the colonies, has been sentenced at Kilmore Police Court to five years' imprisonment for forgery.
