He states that Harry, a half-caste, murdered Packer, and escaped to the Bay of Islands. Ho also says the King will ba nngiy at his capture, as when Hiroki was taken he said the Pakehas were treacherous. NAPIES, Juno 29. A man named Thomas Hamilton, boarding at the Temperance Hotel, was found dead in bis bed this morning. Ho had apparently died peacefully in hia sleep, and had been to church in the evening in hia usual health. He was a carpenter by trade, and had lately come from Christchurch, where he has a wife and family. DUNEDIN, June 29. A Tipperary recent crushing amounted to 300 ounces. INTEROAKGILL, June 29. Charles Everett and Daniel Moore, charged with burglary at Watson’s Hotel, have been committed for trial at the Supreme Court.
