[eeutee’s telegrams.! MELBOURNE, Juno 22. It has transpired that the Cabinet has decided not to allow any drawback upon imported barley malted in Victoria. The American barque Blackwall, timber laden, from Burrows’ Inlet, has arrived here from Waratah Bay, where she wai taken in distress on the 16th inst. The barque Blackwell, which arrived here to-day, picked up at sea a boat containing two of the crew of the ship Bulwark, which foundarad on March Ist during her voyage bom Yokohama to Puget Sound. The appeal case re Union Steamship Company of New Zealand v the Melbourne Harbor Trust, for damages sustained to the steamer Rotorua in October last, was heard to-day, and a rule nisi was made to enter a verdict for the plaintiffs. SYDNEY, June 22. The action of Lucas v the Government of New South Wales, for compensation for laud in Darling harbor taken for railway purposes, was commenced to-day. The amount sued for is £76,945. The Government offered £5676 in settlement of the claim.
