New Zealand securities remain at the following quotations : Five per Cent. 10-40 Loan, 106£; Five per Cent. 1889 Loan, 106 ; Four and a Half per Cent. 1879-1904 Loan, 103. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, remains at 51s, and New Zealand do, at 50s. Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 455. Australian tallow—Best heef, 43s 6d; best mutton, 455. At the wool sale to-day the bidding was steady but the demand was not active. 8100 bales wer* offered. The cricket match at Sheffield between the Australians and eleven of Yorkshire was concluded to-day. The visitors, who at the close of yesterday’s play had put together 25 runs for the loss of no wickets resumed batting, and succeeded in making the required number of runs (99) for four wickets only, thus winning the match by six wickets. The principal scorers were—Massie, 44, and Bannerman, 36. Articles have been signed by Largan and Pearce for another sculling match, to bo rowed upon the Thames.
