Arrived, last evening—Union Company’s steamship Arawata, from Auckland.
In the action brought by Messrs Goodlet and Smith against the Government, claiming £168,000 for land in Darling Harbor for railway purposes, a verdict has been returned for plaintiffs for £87,716 as compensation.
