LONDON, June 13,
Consols have declined to 100|- ex div. New Zealand securities remain at the following quotations : —Five Per Cent. 10.40 loan, 106^; Five Per Cent. 1889 Loan, 106; Four and a Half Per Cent. 1879-1904 Loan, 103, Colonial breadstuffs are unchanged at 51s for Adelaide wheat ex store, and 51s for New Zealand ditto. Adelaide flour, 35s ex store. Australian tallow —best beef remains at 43s 6d, best mutton at 44s 6d. At the wool sales to-day 11,400 bales wore offered to a firm market. June 14. Consols have again risen to 1001, ex div. There are no other changes to report in the money market, or in the markets for colonial produce. One thousand and sixty bales were at to-day’s wool sale, and good competition was experienced at full current rates. SAN FRANCISCO, Juno 13. The ringleaders in the recent attack upon the Europeans have been arrested. In consequence of the unsettled condition of the city, the garrison has been largely increased. The total force of the troops is now 12,200.
