Mails class ot the Chief Post Office for sc. following places (subject to the nooasaary alter* none) as ncdor TUESDAY, JUNE 13.

For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Eiagarooma, at 12.30 p.m. ; late fee letters at 12.-15 p.m.; , guard’s van, 1.25 p m. train. For Northern ports, per Wanaka, at 3.20 p.m ; late fee letters, at 3 30 p.m.; guard’s van, 1 p m. train. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 14.

For United Kingdom and Continent of Earope via Naples; (specially addressed correspondence only), and Australian Colonies, per express, to connect with the s.s. Kingarooma at 7 a m. FEIDaY, JUNK 16. For Chatham islands, per Omaha. SATURDAY, JONE 17.

For United Kingdom, Continents of Earope and America (via San Francisco), West Indies, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &a., &c., as follows : —Ordinary letters, at 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m. ; money orders, at 3 p.m.; guard’s van, 8 p.m. train.

Notice.— On and after Saturday, June 10th, the days of the Pigeon Bjy mail service are changed to Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, hours as now. Mails for Greenpark will close on Mondays, Wed nesdays, and Saturd.ys at 8 a.m., and will arrive by train due 2.15 p.m. on the same days Mails for little River and Akaroa will close on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at Ba.m., arriving in Christchurch by train at 2 15 p.m. same day. Note. —The steamer Wairara leaves Hokitika for Okariti on Saturday, 17th June. Mails close in Christchurch on Tuesday, 13 th Jane, at 7 a.m.

The same steamer will leave Hokitika for West Coast Sounds on 28th inst. Mails clom at Christchurch on Fridav, 23<d inst.. at t n m.
