[eexjtee’s tex-eoeams.] MELBOURNE, Juno 6. A disastrous boilar explosion occurred at the Apollo Stearine Candle Manufactory, Brown’s Hill, to-day. The buildings wore seriously damaged, and one man lost his life. Sailed, this afternoon. Union Company’s steamship Albion, for the Bluff. SYDNEY, Juno 6. Arrived, yesterday evening, Union Company’s steamship Arawata, from Auckland. The ferry steamer Fanlight, 15 tone, ran into and sunk the steamer Osprey, 32 tone, off Fort Macquarrie in the harbor to-day. The crow of the Osprey were all saved. Mr Grighen, manager of the Agricultural Company’s Colliery at Newcastle, has agreed to accept a proposal that, arbitrators should be appointed to effect a settlement of the miners’ strike.
