The Newcastle Agricultural Company’s miners have now declined to submit matters in dispute to arbitration on the terms proposed, and have decided to refer the subject to the whole district. Great disappointment is felt at the failure of negotiations for arbitration. ALBANY, June 6.

Bryant alias Do Beaumont, informant of the “ Age ” regarding the alleged Russian designs on the Colonies, has been arrested for forging a cheque. In the Legislative Assembly last night, Mr Patterson’s motion regarding tho Irish address, signed by certain members of the House, was, after further debate, rejected by 43 to 27.
