THE EXHIBITION.

There was a capital attendance of visitors last night at the Exhibition, when the attractions comprised the juvenile band, under the leadership of Mr F. Lseoh, and the feats of tho Australian Blondin, Mr Morris. The weather in tho afternoon was too inclement for the outside performance of Blondin, which consequently had to be postponed till the evening. The feats of Mr Morris were most cleverly performed by him, and loudly applauded by the large audience, Mr Leech’s juvenile band created a most favorable impression. They play with a spirit and realization of the conception of the composer, far beyond their years. Master Moss played a fantasia for the flute on the Scotch air “ Kinloch of Kinloch ” very nicely indeed, the intricate variations following the theme being most artistically given. Master Barrett’s violin solo on airs from ‘'Ernani” was also well played, and the same may be said of the concerto for violin and piano by Master Peters and Mr 0. Wand. Two songs were put on the programme for a lady amateur, but the place wa? filled by Mr J. Carder, who sang “Maid of Athens” and “The Gallants of England ’’ very nicely indeed. In tho second part Miss Buckland’s violin fantasia on airs from “ Traviata ” was excellently rendered. Tho three overtures were also well played, and as a finale the band played “ Hail, Zoalandio," composed by Mr F. Leech, and “God Save the Queen.” As a whole the performance was an entire success, end the way in which tho children rendered tho various items allotted to [them on tho programme did infinite credit to Mr Lceco as their tutor. Thoy appear again this afternoon. It is satisfactory to bo able to record that thoSmovomcnt for an exhibitors’ ball has been crowned with a success which even the most sanguine hardly hoped for. It will certainly be ono of tho most pleasant gatherings in connection with the Exhibition, and the committee in whose hands the arrangements have been placed are sparing no pains to render the reunion a success. A meeting will bo held to-day in the Press room to further arrange matters in connection with the ball. Exhibitors who have supplementary exhibits not yet judged, are reminded that the committee of awards will meet on Tuesday next at 10 a.m. to adjudicate on all miscellaneous exhibits. Exhibitors having any" thing not yet judged will have to forward particulars to the secretary not later than 6 p.zn. ou Monday next,
