COURSING.
On Monday the members of the North Canterbury Coursing Club thoroughly enjoyed a day’s sport on the lands of Messrs Peacock, Dailey, and Chapman, at Swarinanoa. There was a muster of about sixteen dogs, and several very good courses were madb, but no accurate record was made of thosfttnbMr James Hurse discharged the duties of judge, and Mr George Cone those of slipp 6 *- The match for the day was not finished wheh the shades of evening closed around, and the concluding courses remained undecided.
