At the usual pitting of the Waste lands Board, held at Christchurch on Monday, May Bth, sales were made as follows : —Ordinary : A»hley, 33a 3r 6p; Selwyn. 3a 2r 2Gp ; Akiroa. 153 a; Ashburton, 12a 2r 1 p; Geraldine, 15a Or 23p. Total acreage sold, 2 81 Or : 6p. Total cash received, Xi 36 6a 3d. Refunds on account of former purchases were mada in the amount of X 54 8a 31.
