[By Telegraph.] [Per 1.8. Arawata, at the Bluff.] MELBOURNE, May 1. By a boiler explosion at the new flour mill, Tarnagnlia, ono man was killed and four scalded ; two dangerously. Burns has been committed for trial for the Deep Lead murder. The evidence is quite circumstantial. The headless trunk of the victim was found some time ago. Applications ore being received from d’fLrent parts of the colony for permission to establish now Yolunteer corps, but nothing will be done until the reorganisation of the force, when some of the existing corps will probably be disbanded.
