Shop xifiing. —James Finn pleaded guilty to stealing a pair of boots from the front of the shop of Nathan Moyer, Caehol street. Eight previous convictions for larceny had b;on recorded against him. He was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment, with hard labor.

The robbery took place in Gloucester street, on Saturday night last. The police not being ready to proceed with the case, the prisoner was remanded till Mey 18Lh.
