ASPHALTS PATHS.

To the Editor of the Olobc. Fir, —A short time ago you called public attention t'i the bad state of cartways crossing the footpaths. May I call your special attention to the very great number of fresh cartways which have been made since the footpaths were asphalted, thereby »reaking up the asphalte and leaving the paths In a far worse condition than those gateways which were originally left when the asphalte woe first la ; d. Purely the parties who thus cut up the ashphalte paths should bo made to repair the damage done. It would have been far better not to have asphalte paths at all than to have them in such a broken and cut up condition as we now find them, aye, and as we shall find them on a winter’s rainy day. Yours, &0., WM. PARKER.
