May 6 The plans for the new Garrison Hall have been approved of by the drill-shed commissioners, and tenders are to bo called for the erection of the building. The main hall shows a floor space of 100 ft. by 60ft., and on each side will be rooms for the officers’ band and various companies. The stipend for ‘ the incumbent of °t. John’s Church, to be appointed in room of Mr Tanner, deceased, has been fixed at exclusive of residence, Easter offertories, mm the subsidy from the General Clergy Mat*l- - Fund.
