THE EXHIBITION.

The attendance yesterday was exceedingly sparse, except in the evening, when a_ temperance demonstration took place. At this several addressee were delivered and songs sang. The Austrian Band also played some pieces very artistically. In the afternoon a piano and organ recital under the auspices of Messrs Milner and Thompson, took place. Owing to the very insufficient notice given, the recital was but thin'y attended. Mr K. T. Searell performed on the organ, and Signor Sorgeand Mr H. F. Towlo on tho piano. Moveral Bongs were rendered by Mi-iB Ida Osborne and others, the vocal portion of the programme differing somewhat from that published. '1 he election of jurors in the various sections resulted as follows : I.—Classes 1,2, 3, 4-Coal and coke, stones, clays, gravels, ores, and miscellaneous minerals. Messrs 8. P. Andrews, W.
