BOARD OF HEALTH.
At yesterday's meeting, held at the conclusion of the sitting of the Drainage Board, the following were present—Mr W. Vincent (chairman), and Messrs J. E. Parker, W. P. Hubbard, A. Aehworth, F. Jones, and L. Harper. Tee Town Clork, Dunedin, wrote that (1) the salnry paid tho medical officer there was £l5O a year; (2) that tho inspector of nuisarcns was paid at the rate of £l4O a yoar, and Ihsfc tlee was no inspector of dairies ; and (3) that tie Board of Health's functions in Duncdin we*e not exercised b.'jocd the oity boundary proper. The clerk to tho Rl.~cc.rton Baard wrote that the Kiccarton Road Board would gladly co-operate with the Board of Health in ir.sproting dairies. Aocaunts amounting to £B3 lOj 6d were passed for payment.
