Shortly after three o'clock Mb Excellency's carriage, containing fir Arthur and Lady Gordon, drove to the College entrance, where Lieutenant Colonel Packe, the Primate, Bevs. W. O. Harris and F. Sir Arthur walked along the ranks, narrowly scrutinising the cadets, who were drawn up two deep. The lads were then put through a variety of marasuvres, which they performed in a manner that would put to shame the drill of many old companies of volunteers, their Vbiyonet practice being excellent.
