PAPANDI COURSING CLUB. Thibd Day. Coursing was resumed by Agent one Wheel of Fortune being led to the slippoi for the first course of the first ties in th< All-aged Stakes. Before long they war. slipped to a hare, the Agent leading, but working wide, gave the Wheel a show, and sh< scored the first and second turns, after which the Agent got in and scored a point, when a dog broke from his trainer and joining in, the course was declared in favor of the slut, Starlight then ran a bye with Louie. The second ties of the Puppy Stakes commenced with Bannorman and Taraban trying conclusions. Considerable interest wac excited in this courts from the running ol both dogs on the previous day. A hare beine found, Taraban wont away with the lead, but the black raced past in the run up and scored the two first turns. Taraban got in again, but again the black raced past and regained possession, the hare showing the way through a wire fence in a turnip field, and thence through a gorse fence into an adjoining paddock, whore the black scored. Orange Lightning then ran a bye with Fiying Scud, The second ties of the All-Aged Stakes were then called on, and Wizard ran his bye. In the next course, Starlight met Wheel of Fortune, and both wore let to a long slip, Starlight leading and going at a rattling pace, a dozen length* a-head of the Wheel, Eiled up a big score before the latter got in, ut too late to win the course. The final for the Puppy Stakes was then run, and when let go Orange Lightning led for a distance, but the black pursued his old tactic*, and raced past grandly and turned, bat puss getting in the tussock the dogs wore unsighted, and the judge declared a no course, and although Orango Lightning was soon picked- up, the black went a long journey alone, and being picked up aomov/hat exhaused, both owners agreed to divide, as also did the owners of Starlight and Wizard, tho two last dogs left in the All-aged Stake, Wa append results : PUPPY STAKES. Second Ties. Bannerman beat Taraban Orange Lightning ran a bye. Final. Mr Laurence’s blk d Bannerman, by Mark lemon —Blush Hose, and Mr McConnell’s f d Orange Lightning, by Sweep —Cleo, divided. ALL-AOBD. First Ties. Wheel of Fortune beat Tho Agent Starlight ran a bye. Second Ties. Wizard ran a bye Starlight boat Wheel of Fortune. Final. Mr Eovenhill’s blk s Starlight (late Lancashire Lass), by Donald Hinemoa, and Mr O’Brien’s bl d Wizard, by Legerdemain—Magic, divided. A meed of praise is due to Mr J.
