[PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM 1 WELLINGTON, March 30,
Her Majesty’s consent to the Chinese Immigration Act, 1881, is notified in the “ Gazette.”
Declarations fixing the shooting season for imported and native game; also the license fee, &a., for various districts in the colony, are gazetted. The resignation of the Hon. Randall Johnson as captain of the Wellington Guards is gazetted, as also is the resignation of William Withers as clerk in the Registrar-General’s department.
