The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Tuesday, March 14th, were as follows : Spirits, .£476 9s 3d ; tobacco, £19428 ; cigars, £l6 16a; beer, £6 sa; sugar, £59 17s lOd ; tea, £26 15s 8d; poods by weight, .£35 8s 6d ; ad valorem. £655 17a ; other duties, £9O 8a 6d. Total, £.387 9a 9d. COMMERCIAL TELEGEAMS. Wellington, March 15. Messrs Laery and Campbell report that peaches brought 7s to 7s 6d per case ; apples, eating sorts, 7s to 9s; cooking, 6s : quinces, 5a 6d per case ; pears, 8s Gd per case ; water melons, 3s Gd per dozen. Fresh butter, 7d per lb. Eggs brought la 9d. Ducks and fowls sold at 3a 6d per pair. Potatoes are worth £3 5s to £3 10s ; onions remain a drug ; oats are scarce.
