The ship Sobraon which left Melbourne for London via the Cape on the 6th nit., and for whose safety fears were entertained, her headboard having been picked up on the 13th, was subsequently spoken at sea on the 19th ult. ArrivalArrived this morning—Union Company's steamship Rotorua from Auckland. BRISBANE, March 13. Fire in a Newspaper Office A serious fire occurred to-day at the office of the Brisbane " Telegraph" newspaper. The machine room was completely destroyed, and the remainder of the building considerably damaged. The Floods. Owing to the recent heavy rains serious floods have occurred in some districts. The loss is estimated at £4OOO.
