I.O.G.T.—Mr John Buxton o£ the Hope of Christchurch Lodge has just been elected by a large majority of the Good Templars of the Christohnrch as District Deputy G.W.0.T., in room of Mr O. M. Gray resigned. Lakbikinism. —lt is stated that a man named Daniel O’Oonner was sot on oa Saturday about midnight by a band of larrikins, and badly beaten by them in the vicinity of the Oaversham HoteL None of the assailants were arrested.
