[bEUTEE’S TELEGKAMB.I LONDON, March 12. The Markets. Consols are unchanged at 100£. New Zealand Five Per Cent. 10-40 Loan remains at 103 a, ex div.; Five Per Cent. 1889 Loan has advanced to 104^; Four and a Half Per Cent. 1879-1904 Loan, 100£. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, has declined to 53s ; New Zealand ditto is unchanged at 495. Adelaide flour, ex store, 38s. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,830,000 quarters. At the wool sales to-day 10,200 hales were catalogued. The market is strong, prices being generally £d higher. PARIS, March 10. Egypt. The “ Temps” in its issue to day publishes a statement to the effect that M. Bliguiers, French Controller-General in Egypt, has resigned. The announcement, however, requires confirmation. ST. PETERSBURG, March 10. The Fire Fating General. General Skobeloff, who was ordered to return to this city from London in conseof his speech to the Servian students in Paris, has arrived, and had an audience of the Czar. No particulars of the interview have, however, yet transpired. CAPETOWN, March 10. Proposed Responsible GovernmentThe Natal Legislative Council has dissolved, with the object of testing public opinion in the colony, in regard to the offer recently made by Earl Kimberley, Secretary of State for the Colonies, that Natal should be conceded responsible Government.
