ENGLAND v: AUSTRALIA. [beuteb’h telegeams.] MELBOURNE, March 10. Tho return match between Shaw’s All England Eleven and' tho members of the Australian teams commenced here to-day. The weather was very fine and the wicket lively. The Englishmen went first to the wickets, and at the adjournment for luncheon had scored 63 for the loss of two wickets, Ulyott being not out for 30 and Bates for 10, The visitors continued their innings until time was called, and had then put together 282 runs for the loss of eight wickets. The following are the individual scores : Barlow, eanght - - 16 Selby, bowled - - 7 Bates, eanght and bowled 23 Shrewsbury, l.b.w. • -4 Ulyett, caught - - 149 Midwinter, caught - - 21 Scotton, caught - - 28 Emmett, not out - - 25
