Auckland, March 9. Arrived “Estelle and Saxon, from Lyttelton. The s.a. Australia, at 5 p.m. She went into quarantine flying the Health Officer's flag. Dr. Fhilson, health officer, boarded her, and found aho sailed on the I6th February from San Francisco, and that measles broke out ton days after leaving. Five cases in all occurred, but of a mild type. No deaths. She brings fifty six passengers, of whom twenty-one are for Auckland. three being children suffering from measles. The Auckland passengers were landed at Monbihi. The mails were brought up from Monhihi nnfnmigated, as they had been kept in a separate part of the vessel. Passengers for Now Zealand (Saloon) Messrs f J nrner ; steerage—Mr Monahan and throe children, Messrs J. Smith, J. Bennett, E. Chelan, Hicks, F. C. Bead. A full rigged ship is off the coast bound for Auckland, probably the Oxford. Auckland, March 10. Arrived —Oxford, Capt, Braddiok, from London ; also the yacht Asteroid, from Wellington. Dunedin, March 9. Arrived- Jane Anderson, from Kaipara; Helen, barque, from Hobart. Sailed —Isabella Anderson, for Timarn.
