The cricket match between the English and Australian elevens was resumed to-day, and resulted in a victory for the latter by six wickets. At the conclusion of yesterday’s play, the Englishmen had lost nine wickets for 121 runs; Shrewsbury and Peato continning their innings to-day nntil the former was caught for 47. Peate was not oat for 8. Tho total score amounted to 134. The Australians then went in for their second inning, requiring 63 runs to win the match, and this number was obtained with the loss of only four wickets.
