For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, (via San Francisco), Cape ot Good Hope, Natal, Sandwich Islands, Northern Forts of New Zealand, per Penguin, as follows : —Ordinary letters, 6.30 p.m. ; lata fee letters, 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, 6.30 p.m. ; money orders, 3 p.m.; registered letters, 5 p.m.; gnard’a van, 8.10 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on April 10th. TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 28. For Otago, per Alhambra, at 11.30 a.m ; late fee letters, 11.40 a.m.; guard’s van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Hawea, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.20 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1. Notick.—Penny duty stamps may in future be used as postage stamps, and penny postage stamps may be affixed to receipts in place of duty stamps. Notick. —Magazines, if posted in covers open at the end and marked “ Magazine Post,” can be sent to any part of New Zealand at the rate of one half-penny for each two ounces.
