Receipts since last meeting ;—Rents of cottages, £1 4s ; reserves, £ls ; pans, £2 3s 4d ; inspector’s salary (share from Wakanui Road Board), £8 6s 81; dog licenses, £9 10s ; culverts, £2 ; water pipes, £574 4s 3d; total, £612 8s 3d. The works committee’s recommendation that six additional lamps should be put up was adopted. Accounts amounting to £36 16s 4d were passed for payment, Mr G. D. Branson was appointed borough solicitor for the ensuing municipal year.
